Issue Summary
Is there anything i can do to lighten the load on clients. i received a few complaints. In testing this myself, the best results I get (and this is a first for me) are with IE6 running in WINE. FF and Opera load the page slowly and Seamonkey slows to an absolute crawl.
I only have eight elements in the ticker. As each starts, the usr load spikes. Any suggestions or is this a common problem?
