Issue Summary
Every time a new user register through a referral link, he is shown in the referral history of the referrer, but he does not get any points. I did set up in the userpoints module to give them 50 points without moderating, but it does not work. I do not know if this is a failure of userpoints or referral module.

@kbahey it's even more annoying to click on your link to the duplicate only to find, as with many of your modules, no answer, no solution and no support.
