Hi Stella,
First, I'd like to apologize for asking this, since I know you don't want to add other providers.
But there is this one provider that I need to be able to play in Lightbox, since it generates income. Without it I might need to consider an alternative, which I don't want.
I know about the Emfield module, but this doesn't work for me.
Anyway, this is the code we use to embed:
<script type='text/javascript' src='http://load01.videostrip.com/serve_cad.php?cnti_key=11743476&play_key=23940257&startmode=CLICKTOSTART '></script>
Here, cnti_key is the key to the film, play_key is the player, this one will allways be the same.
Thanks, and hopefully you can help, because I really want to use Lightbox.

stella commentedI'm not going to add it to lightbox, but you could still be able to do it.
Create a file and put in the embed code from above into it. Then use the
rel="lightframe"orrel="lightframe"methods to display the file in the lightbox.I still think it would be better for you to request support for the videostrip.com to be added to emfield rather than requesting it be added to lightbox.
Cheers,
Stella

Eiersneijer commentedThere is no way of adding this site to lightbox functionality that I can add myself? Emfield won't integrate with our aproach to Drupal, so that's no sollution.
I have tried using lightframe allready, and it works. But we have a team of 10 people adding these articles, which shouldn't take longer than 15 minutes to create. By creating a new file this takes too long, and is to technical (for a journalist, that is).
Thanks

stella commentedIs there any way to directly link to the video without embedding it?
stella commentedI took a look at implementing it, but because of the way the videos are shown - via a "script" tag rather than an "embed" tag, it's just not possible to integrate it with lightbox2. I've tried a few different methods and either the video is opened in a new page, or source code in the link is opened.
I'm already disinclined to add support for new 3rd party videos to lightbox2, and now it looks like the one that you're requesting isn't possible to do, at least not without considerable effort, so this issue is remaining "won't fix".
Hope you find a solution.
Cheers,
Stella

Eiersneijer commentedThanks for having another look. Great support as allways.
I will ask my provider (for those video's) if there's another way of implementing the video's, other than a script-tag.
Thanks again, and hopefully I'll find a solution...
