I have been using teleport for a while with no problem. suddenly whenever i hit control - T a new tab opens instead of teleport. Dunno whats the problem.

Did you recently update to the newest version in CVS? If so, the default hotkey was changed to Ctrl-M so that it doesn't conflict with browser functions. I wanted to re-map it to a key that is unused by the web browser. You can always re-map the hotkey back to Ctrl-T in the Teleport Settings page. See #267009: CTRL+T

If not, can you give more information about the browser and Drupal version you're using, and whether or not you did anything before you noticed the change?

I just to have it on CTRL+Q, which is idiotic, but thats not the point, the point is that if something else in the browserwindow other than just the tab that shows the website with teleport it will use the browsershortcut, but if you mark the correct tab by clicking somewhere on the page it will use the teleport-shortcut.

Ctrl+T is the shortcut key for "open new tab" in most broswers... No issue here , marking fixed.
