This release is considered stable but is not feature complete and therefore an alpha release. New in this release:

#300948: When the height option is left blank (default) the height of the tallest item is detected and the rotating region is set to that height.
#306593: Added hook_views_api and moved functions and objects to different files to support Views 2 RC 3, its API change, and Views autoloading.

If you are upgrading from a previous release and want to take advantage of the auto height detection go into your views rotator settings and set the height of the region to be blank.

Another step in the direction of a release.

#303272 by mfer: Backport of region auto height detection. (on by default)
Fixed issue where script was timing out browser when back and next buttons where enabled.

If you use a custom theme function please update these functions as there have been changes.

This alpha release of the Drupal 6 version of the Views Rotator module should be a stable release. This release is an alpha release because it is not feature complete.

If you are updating from an early development version of the module you will need to re-enter you Views Rotator settings.

This release moves from custom JavaScript to using jQuery cycle (http://malsup.com/jquery/cycle/). At this time only the fade transition is supported. More transitions will be implemented before the final release.

This is the Release Candidate for the Drupal 5 version of the Views Rotator Module 1.0.

This Release Candidate is feature complete with rotating views items for blocks and pages. There are configuration options (read the THEME.txt file for details) for the time between rotations, the time for a rotation to happen, pausing on mouseover, back and next buttons, and to set the height of the rotating region.
