I have an application where a user can create a Node using CCK - this is working fine.
As an option, users can subscribe to it when viewing that node - this is working fine.
Is there a way for the person creating that node, to define users to the subscription of the newly created node, by way of a Drop Down list or Tick Box. Thus forcing the user to be subscribed to the node - they can remove this from their account.

salvisI'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean. Who is forcing what on whom and what would be inside the drop-down list?

shmatty29 commentedHi salvis
Basically when a user creates a node I would like the ability to subscribe a users to the node when it is created.
Thus the creator of the node forces a subscription of the node on the users of the site. So when the node is created a selection of users will be subscribed by the creator of the node.
Hope this makes sense
Thanks, matt

salvisOk, I understand what you're saying, but would you personally like having subscriptions forced upon you?
In what context could this be useful?
If you talk about having a drop-down list of users, you apparently only have a handful of users on the site.
I'm not (yet) convinced that this is a feature that has general appeal...
