I created a new menu and once nodehierarchy is installed in the settings I set that menu for the menu creation of nodehierarchy, nevertheless the menu items still being created in Primary-Links.

bsdunx commentedCan you give more specific info on the steps you took? I just tried to reproduce but was unable to.

arhak commentedI installed fresh Drupal 6.3 with a custom profile installation which enables nodehierarchy from the start (there are other modules enabled as well)
The first idea to give nodehierarchy a try was using it for creating all the pages hierarchy (since it can't discriminate between types being parent/child of which types) but, just before doing anything I went to configure it and set "allow user to auto create menu" and selected a default menu, in this case a custom menu only created for this purpose. Then everything seems to go fine, but my custom menu remains empty, when I look around they were all going to Prim-Links. I checked around and all the config seems look to me, but pages still go to the Prim-Links.
Tell me if these steps doesn't get you to reproduce it, so I go deep into the matter (otherwise I rather prefer not to because it's not such a big deal).

bsdunx commentedI've noticed some menu wonkiness myself now, I'll try to reserve some time to work on this sometime this week.

akwala commentedI see the same thing. When assigning the hierarchy, I check Create Menu. The menu items always end up under Primary-Links, and I have to manually fix them.

ronan commentedThis should work now in dev. Thanks to everyone for looking into this.

akwala commentedCool. Look fwd to the next release.
akwala commentedThis doesn't seem to be fixed yet. I tried setting the hierarchy on a page that didn't have one, and checked Recreate Menu. The menu item ended up in Primary Links as before.

akwala commentedWhat's the status of this?

ronan commentedAre you trying the latest dev release? I don't recall if I've rolled a stable since this fix went in.
If it's still an issue in dev I'll look into it, if it's fixed in dev, I'll roll a release.

akwala commentedI haven't tested the dev release. If it's awaiting release, that's cool.

sphism commentedthis is still an issue - which is odd since it says above it was resolved 2 years ago ?

jbylsma commentedMy quick check showed it working without a problem. If it is still an issue (and still bugging you), please reopen.
