A question/issue regarding performance and config of memetrackers.

On the config screen for memetrackers (at memetracker/mid/edit ) the last setting lets you select Drupal nodes or RSS feeds -- what delivers better performance?

For example, if a site imported 300 rss feeds (and imported the feed items as nodes), would they see better performance/tracking of memes if they had the memetracker running on imported content or on the original rss feeds?

One of the things I'm thinking: if the memetracker was running on an internal site, would it be possible to set the distance threshold to lower and the day count to higher to spot patterns/connections between internal content creators and imported feeds?
