It would be great to have ability to save not exists nodes as simple text without link. It's the way for future posibilities.
For example if we have elibrary and user adds new revision about some book which has not author in our author nodes, so what we can do? how can we store this information?
I think noderefrence will be much powerfull with this ability to save simple text fields in noderefrence field.
Next step to realise this idea - it's work with cron. If author appears in authors nodes, then module links it to materials which have his name stored as text. So we need to determine relations betwwen noderefrence field and refrenced content type.
What do you think about this?

Oh yes!! exactlty what I'm looking for.. I have a site about soccer players
Each of them pays for clubs. Some arereferenced and other not. Thus i'd like to make a noderefence to the club. If there 's a club i dispaly a link, If not, juste a text..
