Hi I have a user on my page who would like to upload WMA files. For some reason the flash player doesn't support wma. I get this error when I upload: This file is not compatible with the Flash audio player. Flash can only play MP3 files with a sample rate of 11, 22 or 44KHz.

Flash is not able to handle WMA files. Could the user convert them before posting them? There are several tools that will allow them to do so. I believe that even iTunes can. (Though I don't remember for certain.)

The user could convert before posting them, I already suggested Itunes for doing this. He never responded and hasn't uploaded any music. I checked on myspace and realized that their artists can upload WMA files. I already have a nice amount of artists signing up but I feel that in the future this could become a complaint and result in me losing artists who aren't too computer savvy. Any suggestions? Thanks

But it http://drupal.org/project/kaltura also claims to handle wma files via http://www.kaltura.org/kcw-contribution-wizard
