I am using workflow to model a process that allows certain reviewers to request revision by an earlier contributor. Is there any way within this module or via another module to archive the previous version when a revision is made? Thanks!

I think I answered my own question. Simply setting the default for the content type to Create New Revision by default, you get a nice revisions tab with all changes made to the request as it moves through the workflow. I think I will disallow users from reverting to previous revisions (Access Control).
