I've several (large) D4.7 flexinode databases which will be upgraded to D5.

What's the preferred path to take?

  1. Install CCK for D4.7 (unsupported), run Flexinode to CCK, then upgrade Drupal, or
  2. Upgrade to D5, then run Flexinode to CCK

Does anyone have any success converting an D4.7 flexinode database to D5?

I'm in the process of upgrading to D5 and then running flexiconvert. I'll let you know how that goes. I just now got the database to update to D5 after several tries. I was having a module_exsist error that took me a while to find.

I finally have the site upgraded to D5. Flexiconvert seemed to work. I haven't found any problems so far.

The path I'm following is 1, the module is more mature (although not perfect) in D4.7.
