I hv added fonts there!

not working

Before enabling this option, some Truetype fonts (.ttf) or Opentype fonts (.otf) must be uploaded to the 'themes/kommunity/images/text/fonts' folder.

Did you read the readme.txt in the root theme directory? It might be an issue of a file permission.

Make sure

layout.css
color/color.inc
images/text/text.js
images/text/cache (directory)

are writeable.

I'll be adding some "check" mechanism in the upcoming bugfix release.

I would like to just remove the fonts and allow them to function as normal text. How can I do this?

you need to prevent /images/text/text.js from loading into the page
