I have downloaded 5.x-1.6 and installed; verified permissions and then checked configuration in admin menu.
I am using the default folder designation (including the "1" on the actual folder).
After activating the block, it (block) appears but without the slideshow.
In place of where the slideshow should appear are the text words, "Previous", "View Photo", and "Next". Clicking on the linked words does not have any effect.
I verified that I uploaded the css and js folders into the couloir_slideshow module folder.
Last observation, is that my URL address bar shows: http://domain.com/#
Would appreciate any hints or suggestions about something that I've likely overlooked in the installation.
Thanks for your support and for this great module.

eanx commentedUpdate: I have played with the configuration and tested a bit more before discovering that the slideshow works fabulously in Firefox browser, works with some issues in Internet Explorer, and does not work at all in the Safari browser.
My initial problem report was based totally on my tests conducted in the Safari browser as I use my Macbook as a primary machine.

eanx commentedThis issue should now be considered closed.
Update: This morning I installed the latest update to my Safari browser and the slideshow now works!!
I am not sure what changed since I *was* able to view the original slideshow on the Couloir Slideshow website using Safari. It just wouldn't work with the Drupalized version.
No matter now. It appears that my site now supports the majority of browsers that visit so I am all set.
Thanks again for the hard work on this module.
If you need any assistance with tech writing or documenting a user manual for this module (my way of contributing to the community), don't hesitate to reach out.

ComputerWolf commentedI'm glad you finally got it to work on safari. I do not have a mac for testing, only linux and windows so I appreciate the feedback. If you want to actually write documentation for the module to be posted on drupal.org, that would be great. Go ahead and contact me if you are still interested, and we can get the details figured out.
