Seems like we're getting pretty close to creating a release of some kind. Maybe a -dev snapshot would be best for now. However, after my recent hacking, I think we're pretty close to a 1.0 release. Just want to get Chad's opinion before I do any this.

If you look at the code, a fair number of the ones from my review are now fixed in HEAD.
But sure, if you want to do a little more polishing first, that's cool.
