The quote on my installation ends on linebreak, not where the ending [/quote] is. I tried moving the linebreak filter above or below it. Seems to make no difference. Any ideas?

**Can this be re-opened? I am experiencing the problem with 6.x-1.x-dev as well as the current stable release. When a user on my forum quotes another user with a line break in the quote, the blockquote will end at the first line break. The quoted text will continue below the block quote, leading to a confusing post as quoted text appears the same as the quoter's text.

I found the issue. Follow these steps to correct the problem:

1 - If you have BBCode and Line Break Converter enabled, disable the BBCode Line Break feature via Input Type settings.
2 - Rearrange the Filters so that Quote is above Line Break Coverter for all required input types.
3 - Ensure that Both aforementioned filters come AFTER the HTML corrector.
