Combinding a Teaser with the Blog Module???

Hey Guys,

I am wondering how to go about adding a node teaser into a new module.

I am trying to build something similar to the blog module, but that has a node teaser built into it to limit the characters of post.

Is a "Teaser" known as a module or a node in Drupal?

that's an amusing question coming from someone who names themselves "DrupalMaster", lol. Teaser is neither a module nor a node-- it's a configuration option of a node.
