use lightbox with any cck field to a view

I'm using Lightbox2 with imagefield and imagecache right now and like how I'm able to set the Lightbox in the display fields section.

My idea was to be able to have any CCK field be a link to a lightbox in a similar fashion. Then to go a little further, it would be great to be able build views for the lightbox content and have the CCK field link to the lightbox view for that node, similar to the login box I guess. Would something like this be feasible?
