Nodereference - Create parents node from child

I would like to know if this can be done, maybe a module exists, if anyone has asked or if I can just be pointed in the right direction.

I have two content types: Activities and Customers. Activities has a node reference to customers. So, you create an Activity and choose the Customer from the node reference.

What I'd like to do is to view a Customer node and have a link to create an Activity about that customer. The link would take you to the create Activity form with that Customer already selected.

Thank you for any insight that can be provided. And if anyone can edit my title to be better descriptive, that would be great too. I struggled to come up with just the right title.
