Due to licensing issues, 3rd party projects shouldn't be hosted directly in the drupal.org repository (see http://drupal.org/licensing/faq#q10). Assuming the simplepie.inc include is an exact copy of the main one from http://simplepie.org you should probably remove the code from the drupal.org repository and provide instructions on how to download the SimplePie package.

The BSD license that simplepie uses is considered GPL compatible by the GNU Foundation. Anything that makes it harder to install a module probably isn't going to gain much support from me.
