Description

I have a list of categories and several of them have sub-categories. Now all of the categories appear on the page, but as soon as the first child category is output, all of the rest of the categories are also output with a "--" before each one. Even though most of them are not child categories.

Example:
* Admissions (18)
* Advertising (27)
* Compliance & Regulatory Issues (30)
* Executive Search (9)
* Financial Aid & Default (3)
* Industry Report (1)
* Marketing (4)
* News (50)
* -- Press Releases (2)
* -- Top Stories (7)
* -- Professional Development (19)
* -- Job Articles (11)
* -- Jobs (8)
* -- Sector Insights (163)
* -- Solutions For Success (1)
* -- The Magazine (11)

Something isn't getting recorded correctly or reset.

I should explain in further depth, the "Press Releases" and "Top Stories" should be children of "News. However, "Professional Development" is a parent category to "Job Articles" and "Jobs". The final three are all root categories.
