Alchemist theme bug problem

I'm using a Alchemist theme using a Drupal6 installation. When adding links in the secondary links menu they show up fine under the primary links when viewing it with a Firefox browser but when I was testing it in Internet Explorer the Secondary links are not displayed below the Primary links like they are suppose to. I was wondering if anyone else ran into this problem and if so have you fixed it?
If not and you are interested in the fix. I'll probably fix it myself and am willing to share this fix.
I hate Internet explorer it makes everything so difficult.
