I just realized that it takes ~30 seconds before my playlist can load. What could be the cause of such sluggishness? I don't see this happening on the site where DP is showcased.
I'm thinking this has something server-side related.
If so, I'm using HostMonster and I currently have a hosting plan that offers me unlimited bandwidth and storage. I also do not have any throttling on. What do you think?

travist commented~30 seconds is most likely an issue with your server and AMFPHP and not the Dash Player. Once the player has its data to make the playlist it is usually very quick in building the playlist. And since you are using HostMonster, I am guessing that might be your problem since they are not really designed for media hosting. And also, if you have unlimited bandwidth and storage does not mean that your server will not get bogged down and run slow.
I would recommend using the Amazon EC2 service when running a media driven website.

travist commentedAlso... I just made an update to the Dash Media Player to select the correct thumbnail image to show in the playlist. This will help tremendously when using Image Attach to attach your images to the nodes that are used for media.

spiffyd commentedI actually found the culprit to my Drupal site's slowness! It wasn't my server. It wasn't my internet connection. It wasn't Drupal or DP module. It was...
