Looking for a Drupal developer

We are a group from Caltech university and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. We have an idea for a website we would like to develop that requires a simple database (of figures and text) and a community that allows simple social networking capabilities (making "friends").

We are based in the Los Angeles, CA area and would prefer a local developer if possible. Must be in the USA. Preferably, we are looking for a developer that would like to receive some equity. This project has potential for a nice income.

This is a simple and small project with potential to grow. Must sign an NDA before we provide more details.
