Hi,

I have been playing around with Drupal for a while now and whilst I am more comfortable getting the basics of the site installed and figuring out how it displays I am having difficulty with I using the ubercart and drupal combined and themed layouts.

1) I have set up a site to showcase a company and what it does combined with a shop to sell some of their products. I thought that I would classify my products as bread, pastries, cakes and pies. Then within each can be the various types of for example cakes- wedding, birthday, xmas, fruit, sponge etc.
so I created classes for these:\

You are hereAdminister / Store administration / Products / Manage classes
Manage classes
Class ID Name Description Operations
500 Cakes Delicious cakes for all occasions iced, plain, fruit or sponge we have a cake to suit you. edit delete
501 Pasties Our full range of pasties delicious meat and vegetable fillings edit delete
502 Pies From puff to shortbread our pies are packed full of a range of fillings such as meat, vegetable and fruit fillings. edit delete
503 Bread Wholemeal, granary, white and shades in between sliced or whole we have a loaf or roll to cater for you freshly baked every day. edit delete

Which I thought I could call to add the various products to. but this doesn't seem to be possible.

I can add products in the product admin but then they aren't in a classification and when you visit the catologue it just lists all the products entered.

2) I am using the Marinelli theme but despite setting the left and right blocks for the menu the content always appears on the left and menu left and right blocks to the right of the screen. This is true for which ever theme I use, which I can't understand either.

Could anyone help with some guidance on getting my head into think straight please? :)

Figured out the theme issue - that's all due to the template file
