I may be wrong but from my first tests it seems that it doesn't respect any of the attributes set for a product.
E.g. starting off as an anonymous user, going to create content_type_x, then checkout the Attributes of the Product associated with content_type_x never show up.

I realise my description is quite brief. So, in brief, a bit more. I'm trying to add an attribute pay monthly/pay annually. And I'd have hoped that since the attribute doesn't show up on node add form it would on the checkout form. But doesn't.
