Nodes referencing translations

Hi,
At the moment nodereferrer only shows nodes that reference the current node. I would like to have an option so that it also shows nodes referencing translations of the current node.
This could be made optional with a setting in the field settings.
I think this feature makes sense for Drupal 6 as core is now multilingual. If you are OK with that feature, then I am happy to develop it myself and integrate it in the current Drupal 6 version.
