Just doing a test upgrade from 5.10 to the new version Drupal 6.4 on my localhost.
All is well except when upgrading the image module to the latest version 6.x-1.0-alpha3, released a few days ago.

Here is the report the upgrade gave me:
An error occurred. http://localhost:8888/update.php?id=1&op=do <br /> <b>Fatal error</b>: Call to undefined function image_get_sizes() in <b>/Users/mcri/MYWEBSITE/sites/all/modules/image/image.install</b> on line <b>250</b><br />

I'm not a codemonkey - but can edit the text file if given direction.

Any solve? Anyone else with this issue?

Got the same error myself.

Even tried upgrading to 5.2x before upgrading to 6, and no luck.

any way we can hack the code to make it work? i'm stuck with no image module for my new 6.x upgrade.
thanks,
m

I ended up getting around this by installing a 5.x version into my 6.x system, then completely uninstalling it, then installing the 6.x version. it may have resulted in lost data, but i only had one or two images so i'm OK with that.

in case it helps,
m
