Add support for recaptcha so the filling out of captchas is actually helping humanity.

Adding support for reCaptcha would make the Mollom service less effective in learning what is spam. Therefore, I'd like to postpone that for now.

So you'd like to use reCaptcha, but still use Mollom for textual analysis?

Yes, i was suggesting just changing the captcha image from the current ones to a reCaptcha version so that solving the captcha's has the added value of helping the reCaptcha project which is digitizing old print works.

I assumed that the graphic piece could pretty easily be swapped out without effecting the text analysis that mollom is doing. I don't understand why using, essentially, a different set of images would effect mollom's ability to learn.

Mollom's CAPTCHAs cannot be simply replaced, since they are more than simple CAPTCHAs. See http://mollom.com/blog/mollom-captchas-are-intelligent for details.
