This is just an open offer to help however I can. I'm not sure what version of QuickBooks you're integrating for, but this has been a long held feature request and one that I've been wanting to get to for the past year now. Thanks so much for starting it up!
I've got QuickBooks Pro 2006 + the web connector here, so I'm happy to do some testing. Lemme know when/where/how. : )

sarvab commentedHello rszrama,
Glad to hear of your interest in the module :)
We have it all setup and working for our site/environment and it is working very nicely, but that's just our one setup and its hard to say how other different setups could cause problems. So really help testing it in different environments and setups would be the best help into making it a more stable and safe platform.
I wrote up some instructions in the included README.txt for getting it setup which I think should suffice for doing some testing. One item in those instructions I am unsure about is whether or not you need the Quickbooks SDK installed or not (quite possibly not, but I have had it installed the whole time).
Other than that I'd be glad to discuss features and roadmaps for doing a proper release. There should be a lot of potential for new functionality and overall better integration.
Some ideas I can think of are:
* Export all products/customers unrelated to completed orders (it only exports those needed for an order now)
* Update those products/customers when information changes
* Import products from QuickBooks
* Ability to specify what QuickBook accounts to use in the transactions (just uses basic default ones now)
* Interactive error handling from the Web Connector (when an error occurs it can open a web page and direct you to how to fix the error)
Let me know of any thoughts you may have and any issues you come across. And thanks for checking this out and offering to help! :)

Anonymous (not verified) commentedI'm getting ready to test this mod on my staging server with an old version (4) of Quickbooks Point of Sale.
My Question is can this mod:
1. Work with QB:POS?
2. Sync both ways from Ubercart to QB and vice versa? Example, if someone buys locally in the physical store, the inventory should be deducted
I'd also be interested in the features mentioned above:
* Export all products/customers unrelated to completed orders (it only exports those needed for an order now)
* Update those products/customers when information changes
* Import products from QuickBooks
I'd be open to discussing a bounty for this as well.
TIA,

sarvab commentedHello txcrew,
In regards to your questions:
1. I have no idea if it would work with QB:POS actually. I'm not fully aware of what the differences are, but QB:POS does have its own SDK so it is possible it would require changes to support it specifically.
2. Currently it does not sync the other way, but that would be a great addition :)
We would also be open to discussing a bounty, especially if that can help speed things up a good bit towards an official release.
Cheers,
-Sarva

avpadernoI am closing this issue, as Drupal 4.7, Drupal 5, and Drupal 6 are now not supported.
