At /admin/content/node-type/cma/fields/field_cma_image, my custom image field..

Under "Global settings", I tried changing the settings, "Default list value: *" to hidden and "Description field: " to disabled. These settings don't stick when I navigate back after saving.

This is an image field from the following modules, imagefield-6.x-3.0-alpha1.tar.gz and filefield-6.x-3.x.tar.gz. I don't know if these modules affect this bug or just CCK only. Any one else see this bug?

Can you reproduce this with a simpler field type ? a text field, or a nodereference field ?
If not, then this should be a bug in filefield...

Both of those field values stick, nodereference and text field. So I believe it's a filefield bug. I'll change the bug project.
