This module is an AWESOME project and will be extremely useful...I had one get-started issue - FYI.

I am running Drupal 5.5 and Moodle 1.9. I've downloaded the v5 version of this module, and have installed per the instructions in INSTALL.txt - no surprises, everything smooth...but I could not login on my Moodle site with a Drupal account until I changed the Password Format in Moodle's authentication/external database admin from Plain Text (per the instructions) to MD5 hash. Then the magic worked.

There doesn't seem to be a way to log into the Drupal site then provide a link or mechanism for the user to access the Moodle site without logging in at the Moodle site?

That's a bug in the INSTALL.txt documentation. I'll fix it today.

As for your last question, I think you are asking about single signon. This module does not quite provide that capability. You do have to log into Moodle at least once. After that, it will remember you via a session cookie.
