I sent a mass contact to all my site members (5000+) and I am getting duplicate versions. I just hope that this is not happening to all my members.

I'm guessing you have a break up limit of about 1000 e-mails and have the send as BCC option set. All e-mails have to have something in the "To:" field, and that something is your address.
