I'm new to Drupal, and I haven't been able to find a way to add Links to the orange bar above the Image like there is in the demo site. Is this a Custom thing done in css or is it something that can be done without any tweaking of the theme?

Your primary links populate this area. Check to make sure that your links are not in NAVIGATION, but Primary, instead.

i found that secondary links will place them in a new bar, under the image. The only thing I don't care for is the regualr font, which can probably be tweaked via css. I also do not see child links opening for the secondary links, so far. Could be my oversight, not sure.

Hope that helps.

I can't get the secondary links to show. I turned them on in the theme>config and inserted a link in the secondary menu.

thoughts?

In http://www.yourweb.com/index.php?q=admin/build/menu/settings

you can choose the Source for the primary links:

that item will be displayed at the orange bar. You can put Primary links, Secondary links, or another menu you created before. (First create the menu and later you can choose-it)

I think I do that! (and I think You understand my beninner's english)
