New to Drupal, and just installed 6.x. I've read through the FAQs and the "Getting Started" pages and still can't figure out the problem...
I've recursively copied /themes/bluemarine into /sites/all/themes/mytheme
And expected to see mytheme in administer >> site building >> themes
But it's not there. I'm supposed to place custom themes there and then enable them via the admin interface right? Am I missing something? I don't see any errors or anything, but it just lists the 5 themes it came with. What am I doing wrong?

I should also mention that
I should also mention that I've tried running cron manually and tried clearing the cached files, and I'm still unable to view the uploaded theme in the admin section.
did you update the .info

WorldFallz: I too have copied a core theme into the /sites/all/themes/mytheme folder, updated the info file with the new name and it still doesn't appear in the Administer -> Site Building -> Themes section to enable. Are we missing something? Anyone?
Thanks in advance!

Did you clear the theme cache as well?
