Would it be possible to link this module with Dash Media Player?

spiffyd commented@dempseyj: This is a very vague question. You need to define "link" and what you want to achieve but I believe both FlashVideo and Dash Player modules already work together nicely.
FYI, if you have read the Dash Player DOCUMENTATION, you should have already seen that FlashVideo works hand in hand with Dash Player by providing a method of importing videos (with FFMPEG support) on to your site which can be displayed with Dash Player.
You will also need Views module to customize your playlists (i.e. which videos you want to show on Dash Player).

I think with the great new module that is the dashmedia player (http://drupal.org/project/dashplayer) that this should become the bundled player for flash video, it would surpass any licensing issues with the current player. Plus with the dashmedia player being tightly integrated with Drupal that it could make a much better experience for the end user and improve the video support of Drupal to the next level.
Hope that is clearer

spiffyd commentedThis may be something Travis makes the final call on but I don't see any reason to bundle both modules together considering that they do completely different tasks and can be configured to work together any way. Besides, Dash Player is not the only media player out there so I think it's a good idea to leave the decision of which player to use up to the developer - after all, one shoe doesn't fit all.
