Is there a simple module that will allow to put "map it" beside addresses on a website?

Hello,

I am completely new to web building. I was planning on using Google API with the relevant Drupal module to embed a map feature on my page. However, it seems that there are currently none (that I can find) which are compatible with Drupal 6x. It can't use GMaps or Location right now. I don't need bells and whistles on the map. I only need it to work in this simple way: when people enter a zip code on my site, I would like to provide them with a list of addresses and the options to view these locations on a map.

Can anyone advise?
