I'm curious if it's possible now, or perhaps in the future to use embedded media from the likes of youtube in such a nice player. Sorry if the question is hopelessly naive;-) Much appreciation for what you're doing. Your tutorials are a bit beyond me, but you know they're so specific and detailed that I think I could learn a lot working my way through them. Again, thanks.

spiffyd commentedThis may actually work...
Use the Embedded Media Field module to create nodes with 3rd party embedded media. Create a playlist with Views to displayed these embedded media nodes. Use Dash Player to play the playlist. I haven't tried this but someone might as well!

travist commentedAnd if this doesn't work, then by-golly I will make it work! :)

hankliu commentedI tried this but it does not work. It would be really nice if it can play embedded videos.

travist commentedI will look into adding this in the next player release. I will keep you informed.

julioc-1 commentedHi travist I'm really surprised about your huge support and answer questions, congratulations
...I'm asking if you have made this functionality yet? ...also it will be enabled only for youtube videos? or for any video added by emfield? ...maybe you can make it in a plugin way so any developers can add some code snippet for others or new providers ...I don't know if this is possible (maybe some providers doesn't allow to this)
Thanks
