This new version, 5.x-1.7, is supposed to depend on checkbox_validate for checkbox validation. I would expect then the legal module to be declared in the .info file to depend on checkbox_validate.

Also, compared the code in 5.x-1.7 against 5.x-1.6 and I cannot see any code changes related to checkbox_validate. Are you sure that the dependency on checkbox_validate was actually added?

Thanks for pointing that out - for some reason CVS did not add my changes to the .info file. Has now been fixed in the 5.x-1.8 release.
