If anonymous user clicks the link in the email to unsubscribe from getting notified of further comments he gets "Access denied".

Hi,

I have the same problem and I found a "Disable comments" option under "comment_subscribe module" in Access control, so I wonder if this option should be checked for anonymous users to allow them to unsubscribe ?

If not what is this "Disable comments" option ?

ps: this option doesn't exist in Comment_subscribe module for Drupal 5, as I don't have "comment_subscribe module" in Permissions on a Drupal 5 installation, is it normal ?

Yes, "Disable comments" option is for allowing users unsubscribe from comments (from my experience).
