is it possible to set Google Analytics account number in settings.php?
I am have two domains with single database. They have different landing pages.

Sounds very crazy what you are doing there (same DB for multiple sites), but you could try the logic used at http://drupal.org/node/183021. Untested, unsupported, un*, etc. :-)
