I've been using the Abuse module for a while and within the past few days have started to get spam in the abuse reports.

(That is, the complaints about a comment contain spam -- the posted comments themselves do not.)

When I went to "Recent log entries" to try to find the IP addresses of the spammers so I could block them, I discovered that the abuse module apparently does not create log entries there for messages submitted to it.

I found that the entries do show up in "Recent hits" but with no way to filter entries there, it is difficult to find the ones you're looking for.

I think logging them to "Recent log entries" would be a great feature enhancement to prevent abuse of Abuse.

A follow up:
It appears that "Recent hits" logs visits to the abuse submission form rather than submissions of the form. I'm really interested in seeing just who actually submitted the form.
