module automatically publishes comments from anonymous users!

Hi,

I have drupal configured so that only admin users (of which I'm the onle one, it's my own "role") can publish comments without moderation, and only the admin can moderate comments.

After I installed spam.module v 2.0.10, all newly created comments were *automatically* published, and my previous setting had no more effect. Uninstalling spam.module and smap_surbl.module restored the wanted functionality.

I'm also using feedback, node_privacy_byrole, trackback, urifilter modules if this is important. I'm using Drupal 4.6.3.
