I want to change the color of the default theme garland. I tried it, it says everything was fine, but I still have my default colors :s

Probably another stupid question from a drupal-noob :p

Changing theme color in Garland is a breath. Just select any of the available theme color options from the menu. If you are not satisfied with that you can also use the color picker. One of the strength of Garland is
its feature to change the color. Just goto admin and then theme and settings page for Garland and play with it.

If you are trying to change manually using the css file you may like to be careful about which css file you need to work with. I think you need to work with the one in the color folder.

yeah, it should be a breath, I've tried it with the color picker and with the drop down menu, but I dont see any changes ....
only that my logo is gone, and I see my logo twice instead :s

Do I need to do somethng else to change it?

* The configuration options have been saved.
* The directory files/color/garland-0b238f38 has been created.

should I copy the files from this directory to the standard-one?

This problem is strange. I never experienced it.

1) May be you need to clear cash and refresh your page.

2) If that does not work probably you need to uninstall and reinstall Drupal.
