Description
Hello!
I am using download_count to log who is downloading what file.
till now the files are atachments to the articles, but because there will be some articles that offer the same files
it would be nice to manage the uploaded files with FCKedit. So i can upload a file one time, and can use this file everytime i write an article about this file.
But the problem is, that download_count does not log a downloaded file that is inseide the article, it logs only files as attachment.
Is there a way to tell download_count to log the downloads inside an article too?
Or is this the wrong place for this question and i should look for a way that FCKedit will make the choosen file as an attachment?

The module only keeps track of files uploaded with the upload module (in core), or at least files that have their records in the upload module's tables, and it only keeps tracks of downloads that use the private method of download.
It can very well keep track of files that are not shown as listed... except that it will not show you IN THE NODE the number of hits. The hits will be only on the Download Count page.
