Hi, I really like the look of this module and would like to test it out. I'll eventually use this for videos but don't currently have ffmpg on my server. How can I set this up to use images just so I can see what the dashplayer looks like and play around theming it? What's the ideal image module to use for testing purposes; I tried the image module but can't work out how to associate the dashplayer with nodes that I create.
Thanks for any tips, great looking module.

travist commentedYou can use any image module that you like. You can even use the image module. Simply just create a view with all of your images and then have the Dash Media Player associate with that view. You can read up on the tutorials that I posted here. Let me know if you need any more help.
Thanks,
Travis.

Jboo commentedThanks for the reply Travis. I've got it up and running and it looks great. What about automatic embedding of the player in a content type? For example I'd like to create a video content type and for users to upload a video per node. Then the node would display the video in the main window of the dash player and views would display other videos in the side menu which would link to their own node; like youtube does. Is this possible?
As a separate question (sorry, just thought I'd throw these out there while I think of them!), could their be a way for the dashplayer to act in exactly the same way when a user embeds a video from another source (youtube, etc)? So even though the video is not actually uploaded it can still display in the dashplayer and seem just like it has been uploaded?
Once again, thanks for your support, I appreciate it.

hankliu commentedHi Jboo, we got so similar ideas, check my post here: http://drupal.org/node/300497
I think this module will be the best if this can be achieved, "one player to rule them all" :)

Jboo commentedNot sure why this has been closed, do I need to open a separate issue? Anyway, looks like we're having the same thoughts hankliu, I look forward to seeing what Travis responds with.
