For reference, here's a revised version of the URL to the other issue: #298240: hook_access doesn't play well with others.

Thanks, I applied this a while back but forgot to update the issue. I'm not updating the 1.x version of the module any longer, so if you're still using it I'd recommend moving to 2.x whenever possible.
