It seems that blocks provided by this module are only visible for superuser.
There are no settings in access control which i could have missed.

Gerald Mengisen commentedI have the same problem, and with the settings page as well. When I try to navigate manually to the "admin/settings/autocomplete_node_finder" page, I get an "access denied" error.
I have recently installed the TAC_Lite (Taxonomy Access Lite) module; could that have an influence?

danielb commentedwell the access permissions are "search content" to see the block and "administer access" to change the settings.
now I see that there is no 'administer access' permission I just made that up, and 'search content' you may not have if the search module isn't enabled.
I'll define my own permissions properly and change it today
