Hi
This is a great module but there is an issue with duplicate content for nodes which have not been translated since a new additional URL is assigned to existing content,
e.g. example.com/node/1 is in english,
the german translation is in example.com/de/node/1
but the non-existant spanish page is in example.com/es/node/1 showing the same content as the english one.
So, if a translation doesn't exist, is it not better to keep the original URL, i.e. on the spanish page example.com/node/1? Is that somehow possible.
It would be even better, if the link title changes by adding the language in brackets, i.e. on the spanish page "Node 1 (en)" for pages which have not been translated. (Skype.com used to do it like this)
Thanks

drewish commentedno i think this is the correct thing to do. the url reflects the site's language--which selects the menu language and everything else.
it would be quite jarring to have a user click on a link and the entire languge switch. just because the content isn't available in spanish doesn't mean that the user's language should be switched to english.
and if they bookmark the link and spanish is later available then they'll come back to the updated translation.
