At the moment I cannot see, nor change the Authoring info, Publishing options, Input format, Menu item settings. The links that make them appear have been removed.

I discovered that it was the influence of this module that might be causing this problem. When jsdomenu is active, the links to show Authoring info etc. will not appear making changes impossible to the extra information.

I don't immediately see why jsdomenu might cause this problem. Possibly it's a matter of the id value given to hidden page elements?
